Earrings

Our earrings collection is drawn largely from the silversmiths of Central Asia (Uzbek, Turkmen and their neighbours), alongside pieces from the Sahara worn by Tuareg and Mauritanian women.

Central Asian earrings tend to be substantial, often gilded silver with coral or coloured glass, designed to catch the light and denote status. Saharan pieces are typically hoops or elongated silver forms, often simple and geometric in their design.
