Necklaces

Our necklace collection brings together Amazigh (Berber), Tuareg, Yemeni and Mauritanian pieces. These include antique Amazigh necklaces worn by women of the Atlas Mountains and necklaces showcasing the exquisite silverwork of Jewish Yemenite craftsmen. We also have Tuareg tcherot amulets carried across the Sahara and glass trade beads once exchanged along historic caravan routes into Mali. Every necklace here carries a story of the people and places it came from.

These are genuine vintage and antique pieces: hand-worked silver, natural coral and amber, and glass beadwork, most pieces bearing the wear and patina of decades of use.
