Vintage Turkmen Jewellery - Silver & Carnelian Ring
A beautiful high-grade silver (tested) ring made circa 1940 by Turkmen tribes. It has a central carnelian stone surrounded by ornate patterning. Very unusual design. There is a rattle when the ring is shaken as though a small piece inside has been dislodged during its long lifetime - but no evidence of any damage at all on the carnelian as you can see from the photos and video.
