This traditional 1940s Tajik wedding necklace is quite spectacular!

Antique natural undyed coral mingles with old glass beads, clam shell discs and a variety of traditional silver Tajik beads with a rotating central pendant and original stringing. A necklace such as this would have been given to the bride on her wedding day as dowry.

This is a long and impressive necklace that slips over the head and looks very beautiful with lots of interesting elements to catch the eye. A highly collectible/wearable statement piece in very good vintage condition. The last photo is of similar necklaces in the MAP Museum, Marrakech.
