Old Moroccan Complete Silver & Enamel Fibula with Amulet - Rare
A stunning complete 1940s silver fibula with a hirz amulet and suspended silver coin dangles. The silver is of high quality (tested). The hirz features traditional green and yellow enamelling, synonymous with the region of Tiznit. One coin is dated 1299 and two are dated 1352 Hijri years, which corresponds to 1881 and 1933 in the Gregorian calendar. Some coins have pieces of coloured Iraqi glass attached. Two old 20 franc coins have been used for pin attachment. This is a really stunning collector’s piece. Wear commensurate with age.
