A large decorative Tuareg 'Bella' pendant amulet, made in Niger in the 1960s. This lovely vintage silver pendant is finely etched with traditional geometric tribal motifs. It would have been worn by the Bella women as an amulet with perceived protective qualities. In good vintage condition with wear and patina. The last photo is of similar pendants in the MAP jewellery museum, Marrakech.
