A stunning late 19th century Turkmen Carnelian ring. The carnelian is dark in colour and forms the entire head of the ring. Around the base of the head is the traditional Turkmen ‘wave’ design. The band is plain silver and semi circular in style as is commonly seen with very old ethnic rings from this region. Collectible and wearable.
