Stunning old Moroccan authentic tribal necklace, made by the Haha Tribe of the Western High Atlas Mountains. This quality choker style necklace comprises many Mediterranean coral beads finely strung with a lozenge network of multicoloured small glass beads. Small, medium and large coins embellish the necklace, 28 coins in total.

The dates on the mostly Moroccan coins range from 1299 – 1329 Hijri years (1881-1903 in the Gregorian calendar). Amongst these are several very old Spanish coins dated 1793 – 1866 (Gregorian calendar). This necklace is an original stringing.
