Vintage Turkmen Gilded Silver Asyk Pendant

An attractive vintage silver fire-gilded asyk pendant handcrafted by Tekke (Teke) tribespeople in the 1990s. It is made of high-grade silver embellished with a gilded traditional design and adorned with a single table-cut carnelian stone. The silver has been hand etched to give a textured background. Very striking and in good condition for its age.
