Authentic vintage handmade glass pendant made exclusively on the small island of Murano in Venice by the Ercole Moretti company. This is the oldest active glass-manufacturing company on the island where artisans still use traditional methods to make beautiful items from glass. The company is world-renowned for its unique tradition of quality glassmaking.

This beautiful half-moon shaped glass pendant is made using a process involving skilfully slicing segments from long coloured rods of glass and fusing them together to create a unique work of art. The pendant is solid glass with a smooth finish. When held up to the light you can see that some of the centres of the circle designs are a brilliant shade of blue glass, very attractive (see photo). 

Each pendant made by the Ercole Moretti company comes with an official trademark consisting of a holographic seal on the reverse with their 003 identification number (as seen in the photo). Whilst this pendant pattern is part of a series, no two pendants are identical due to the artisan process.
