Antique Silver Yemeni Bridal Necklace, ‘Labbah Mazamir’ - RARE
Outstanding antique silver bridal necklace, labbah mazamir, made by Sanaani Jewish silversmiths early 20th century. It is a complete piece, made of high-grade silver with an attractive central pendant and dangles. It boasts beautiful fine filigree work and two strands of coral beads with old coin and ball dangles. The band is made of velvety fabric with an ornate silver clasp, the latter most likely added during its lifetime, making the necklace wearable.
