Old Hindu Silver Plaque 'Patri' Amulet Pendant, Rajasthan, India
An old silver Hindu plaque amulet, known as a ‘patri’, made in the 1960s in Rajasthan, India. These are worn for protection and to attract good fortune. They often feature depictions of deities. This amulet depicts Bhumiya Raj, a deified hero, who died defending his land and its inhabitants.
