Amongst them are three old Spanish coins, which dangle from the main central large coin. These depict King Ferdinand of Spain who reigned from 1813-1833 (Gregorian calendar). One of these coins is clearly dated 1827. Presumably these coins reached North Africa via trade routes.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe old coins are strung with a mixture of glass and plastic beads and the string is tied with an old button.
